anzir
Anzir is Assistant Creative Director of Another Cool Creation, and has a rich and varied background in arts and the urban environment. He is best known as a poetry performer, but has also contributed to anthologies such as "Under the Devil's Moon" (Romantic Outsider, 2000), "Vampire Poetry" (online, 1997) and "3am" (4words media, 2007).

He graduated in Geography from the University of Birmingham in 1999 and has a Masters of Research in the Built Environment from the University of Leeds. After a research post at Loughborough University, he now works with environmental group The Commons Open Society Sustainability Initiative, as well as running the spiced apple web shop and bramley apple Mac support business. As a member of the University of Birmingham's Urban Morphology Research Group, a policy officer for the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK), and Managing Editor of the New Mobility Briefs, he retains a wide interest in cities and how people move around in them.

He began performing at "Freak Brothers", the University of Birmingham's Alternative Performing Arts Society, and in 2001 formed "hEar4Words", a poetry collective based in Bradford, which organised poetry events throughout West Yorkshire, and has appeared at the Bradford Festival and the organising committee of Bradford Peace Festival. In 2005, hEar4Words became 4words media, a fledgling media company which operates as the commercial arm of Disability Support DS, a disability advocacy group based in Keighley. He has also organised arts events in Bracknell and Bradford under the banner of sheep sessions. While still involved in the poetry scene, Anzir is becoming more engaged in visual arts and photography.

Anzir's interests include travelling, technology, cooking, the environment, walking and fine chocolate.
